They are being studied by the students with their unbelievable inventions. Scientists are not the only Filipino heroes. Did you know who are they? Can you think and guess who they are?
What am I discussing about is Filipina domestic helpers is our Filipino heroes. Could you imagine, Filipina domestic helper will go in a foreign country for a great goal and important purposes? Can you do that? Yes, their low- profile is the key for their achievements in their lives. They are far from love ones for a very long time or even how many years. For me, it’s not easy to suicide working abroad. You wouldn’t know who would be your employer. Is she/he a good provider? It’s unpredictable who will be their respective employers. Even if Filipina domestic helper had already heard bad news about other Filipina domestic helper who have been working outside the country but still billions of Filipina domestic helper went abroad. They sacrificed their selves too much.
On the other side, it would be okay if your employer is so good, kindhearted and treat you as a member of the family. What if you will be assigned to an employer who had bad attitudes and treatment? Could you sacrifice it for a long period of time? If you cannot prolong your sufferings, IT’S TIME TO GIVE UP! But most of Filipina domestic helper is great fighter’s .They will fight and make some moves to defend their self. As we hear bad news which is not good to hear, Filipina domestic helpers suffer from maltreatment; in fact some are raped, suffers injuries, and all maltreatment that makes Filipina hurt. Did they find lawful justices? We all know that it takes a long process to look for justice and have some complete freedom. It’s hard to find justice specially those Filipina with no earnings abroad for the reason that their employer did not pay their monthly salary. Justices have been forgotten and buried for nothing.
The life of being Filipina is not easy. The half of their legs will be in coffin’s ready. They don’t know what will be the life of being in a new strange country. For we all know that countries have its own tradition and culture differences. It seems that most of the country except Philippines has a strict policies to be follow accordingly and been very difficult to the Filipina domestic helper to adopt for they don’t have experienced it to their own country. But nothing will be done but to adapt the policies. Still, Filipina domestic helper did not stop exploring the world to have higher rate of monthly salaries. They have not mind how they extend their great extra hardships to their life for the sake of the family that was left in their country.
We appreciate so much our domestic helpers all over the globe for being our Filipino heroes. If I have the power to judge or choose between Filipino heroes who made and published their inventions as the same time as Filipina domestic helper who had willingly serve other people outside the country. I rather choose the Filipina domestic helper for they have provided and contribute a historic mark to our country--Philippines.
